Eastham Clinic is an NHS Walk In Centre based in Wirral. It provides a number of important healthcare services to the local community, including community nursing, sexual health services, stop smoking services and Parkinson's disease nursing. It sees hundreds of visitors through its doors every day and as such is subject to heavy footfall.
In order to protect the health and safety of patients, Eastham Clinic needed to replace the old safety vinyl flooring that was installed throughout the building. Wilson's Flooring Specialists are experts in commercial healthcare flooring, which is why we were the ideal flooring company for this project.
What we did
Eastham Health Centre Wirral Community NHS Trust were looking to replace safety vinyl flooring inside the clinic.
The Wilson’s Flooring Specialists expert team removed and disposed of the old floor coverings. Our flooring contractors then prepared the floors with P131 primer and epoxy self-levelling latex floor screed.
We then supplied and installed new matting to the front and rear foyer entrances and new safety sheet vinyl flooring to the waiting rooms and corridor areas.
Eastham Health Centre is a very busy clinic in Wirral and as such, we completed all of the works overnight so we did not disrupt the day-to-day running of the business.
Outcome
Our expert team worked overnight and within a tight budget to deliver the high-quality installation of safety flooring to Eastham Health Centre without any disruption to the clinic. The vinyl flooring we installed protects the health and safety of staff and patients and meets the demands required of clinical environments, including infection control.
